For the production of an electric heater (TEN), a stainless pipe with a diameter of 8 - 10 mm is often used which serves as the outer shell from which auxiliary devices for supplying current come out. The very same shell made of round stainless steel pipe , serves to protect against mechanical damage and fasten the heating element. It is also allowed to use such heating elements under both normal and high pressure. Another positive characteristic of heating elements made of stainless pipes is their reliability even with significant vibration or shock loads.
